Description:SR 369 from SR 306 to Brown's Bridge Road including Parallel Bridges over Six Mile and Two Mile Creeks and Chattahoochee River / Lake Lanier.
The project consists of the reconstruction of the existing two-lane road to four lanes with a 44' depressed grass median which transitions into a 24' raised median. The project begins just west of the intersection of SR 306 and SR 369 and proceeds eastwardly. The project ends at SR 53 (McEver Road) and ties into a flush median section just inside the western City Limit of Gainesville. The project proposes to replace the structurally deficient bridges located on SR 369 over Six Mile and Two Mile Creeks and the Parallel Bridges over Lake Lanier to meet current design standards. Some sections of the existing roadway will be realigned both vertically and horizontally to meet a 45 mph design speed. The total length of the project is 12.96 miles. The proposed right-of-way width is 200' minimum. Retaining walls may also be required for this project.
