Description:THE LPA GROUP INCORPORATED is providing roadway, drainage, and traffic design as part of an approximately 1300 feet long streetscape project of Harden Street. As part of the streetscape improvements, LPA is performing a traffic operations analysis to determine if any roadway improvements would be needed to accommodate existing and future traffic while also accommodating pedestrians and bicyclists. The analysis centers on the operation of the existing, closely spaced signalized Harden Street intersections with Calhoun Street and Read Street. LPA is performing the analysis based on the City's Synchro/SimTraffic files. These files will also be used to prepare the traffic signal system timings. LPA will also design temporary signalization for use in the construction traffic control and replacement of the existing signal installation with mast arm poles.
