THE LPA GROUP of North Carolina, p.a., an affiliate of the THE LPA GROUP INCORPORATED, a South Carolina Corporation, was the lead design Firm providing Roadway, Bridge, and Traffic Signal Design and Utility Coordination on this design-build project. The project consists of the construction of approximately 3 miles of two-lane roadways and the acquisition of the right-of-way to permit the construction of a future four-lane divided facility. The traffic signal design elements of the project include the design of five new traffic signal installations, revisions to two existing traffic signals and the incorporation of flashing yellow arrow permissive left turn signalization. LPA also provided the design of the fiber-optic communication cable/traffic signal interconnect over the length of the project.
