THE LPA GROUP INCORPORATED's Structural Engineers are proven leaders in providing bridge and structural design solutions for transportation projects. Our staff’s bridge design experience encompasses every type of bridge structure, from major cable-stay and concrete arch structures to the smallest precast or cast-in-place flat slab bridges and pedestrian bridges. We have completed numerous projects using both the design-bid-build and design-build project delivery methods and have demonstrated our commitment and ability to meet schedule and budget demands. Our professionals are experienced in engineering design, bridge construction engineering and inspection. This diversity in our staff allows us to work in project teams to take our bridge projects from the planning phases, through design, and to completion of construction, with careful consideration to constructability, safety, and budget.
Although primarily focused on bridge engineering, LPA's structural staff also provides innovative design solutions in other areas to support the Firm’s highway and aviation projects. Our engineers have designed large box culverts, labyrinth weirs, conventional drainage weirs, electrical vaults for military aircraft loading, energy dissipaters, and a variety of retaining wall solutions including sheet-pile, soldier-pile, concrete gravity, and mechanically stabilized earth walls.
